Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Cedar Rapids intends to establish one-year contracts for as-needed purchases of water system pipe, fittings and appurtenances by the Water Division. The materials supplied shall be new, unused and equipped as described in the Specifications and the Bid Pricing Forms provided as attachments with this RFB. It is anticipated that some hydrant and valve purchases may be for federally funded projects. All iron and steel materials used for federally funded projects must comply with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) 23 USC 313 – Buy America 23 CFR 635.410 policy. Submittal of all certificates of compliance from the manufacturers of steel and iron materials must accompany each delivery for record of compliance.
