Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Vermont (SOV) understands the importance of the current events in the United States related to issues of systematic and structural racism that are entrenched not only in the nation’s history and culture but also in practices and policies. SOV envisions that individuals or companies seeking to establish a contract are inclusive and have sought to create a workforce that understands the causes and effects of racism and other forms of discrimination, oppression, implicit bias, and inclusion. SOV also envisions that these individuals or companies are committed to providing solutions that will initiate meaningful change in how they approach work, colleagues, and Vermont residents and visitors. Through this Request for Proposal (RFP) the Vermont Criminal Justice Council (hereinafter the “State”) is seeking to establish contracts with one or more companies that can provide a law enforcement job task analysis (JTA) with the ability to implement the JTA into a long-term curriculum development and accreditation goal with an equity lens.
