Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking proposals from qualified Consultants to complete a park plan for the Westside Library Project for the Parks & Recreation Department. The Westside Library Project will be on approximately 15 acres of land that houses the new library building, parking, and a new city park to serve as a community hub for the Westdale area. This shared acreage is a vision of a park in a library and a library in a park, providing cohesive amenities and a true neighborhood destination. The development will occur within the parcel off Wiley Boulevard SW between 18th and 20th Avenues SW with the remainder of the land being sold for profit. Exact acreage will be determined this Spring when library massing diagrams are completed.
