Specifications include, but are not limited to: Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from qualified contractors to provide on campus calibration services for the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. Ability to come on-site and provide at least quarterly service for equipment maintenance, minor repair, verifications, and calibrations. Pay by invoice per instrument calibrated, and must have separated invoices by lab department. Willingness of company to update certificate to meet lab needs (e.g. calibration next due dates if on certificates). Service provider can only service equipment during standard VDL hours of operation - M-F 8AM-5PM. Ability to provide a three week turn-around-time for equipment that must be taken off site (e.g. large weight set must be available to verify necropsy’s balance at least 1x/month for balance to be useable). Ability to provide one week turn-around-time on certificate corrections or missing certificates. Measurement traceability to NIST/ SI units; Perform as-found and as-left checks, at least at low and high range of equipment; Service provider must have capability of providing ISO 17025 calibrations ; Ranges of calibrations needed: Pipettes- 0.1μL – 5mL; Bottle top dispensers or repeaters- 0.1mL - 50mL; Digital thermometer- -80C - 120C; Weight set- master set 1mg – 2kg, necropsy set 10-50lbs; Analytical balance- 1mg (analytical chemistry) – 200 lbs (necropsy); Humidity monitors- temperature 0-50C, humidity 0-100%RH; Centrifuge- time in minutes, temperature 0-8C, and speed up to 1000 rpm; Autoclave- temp up to 121C, time in minutes, and pressure up to 30psi;
