Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contract to supply and deliver Steel Delineator Posts to the State of Nebraska; 6.5 FOOT STEEL DELINEATOR POST 8,500.0000 EA; 7 FOOT STEEL DELINEATOR POST 500.0000 EA; 7.5 FOOT STEEL DELINEATOR POST 500.0000 EA; 8 FOOT STEEL DELINEATOR POST 500.0000 EA; All items proposed shall be of the latest manufacture in production as of the date of the solicitation and be of proven performance and under standard design complete as regularly advertised and marketed. The posts length shall be set forth in the order and shall be of the standard U or channel shape flange type. Steel Delineator Posts shall be fabricated from hot-wrought carbon or rail steel conforming to the requirements specified in ASTM A 702, Steel B. All holes shall be 3/8-inch diameter which, shall be punched or drilled in the post and spaced 1 inch from center to center, plus or minus 1/16- inch, beginning with the first hole at 1 inch from the top of the post. Punching shall be done so that there will be no cracks radiating from the holes. The posts shall be cleaned of all loose scale prior to finishing and painted with one or more coats of weather resistant enamel of either green or black. The finish shall produce a glossy appearance with satisfactory elastic and adhering properties, and a paint film thickness no less than 1.5 mils. After drying the finish shall not crack or chip from the metal with struck with a light blow from a hammer. The posts shall show no appreciable change in adhesion or appearance when immersed in water at room temperature for a period of 72 hours. The posts shall weigh not less than 1.00 or more than 1.25 pounds per linear foot
