Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Generally. a. Successful Offeror (“Contractor”) shall provide all trained, qualified, and experienced personnel, plus all necessary labor, tools and equipment, materials, and supplies to perform On-Call Asbestos and Other Hazardous Materials Abatement (hereafter “Services”) as requested by County. b. All Services shall be assigned on an on-call basis, through Task Orders issued by the County Project Manager as needed, as described in “Task Order Process” below. 2. Hazardous Materials Abatement Planning. a. Describe work to be conducted, including collection, securing, shipping, manifesting and ensuring or proper disposal. 3. Hazardous Materials Abatement. Services performed by Contractor shall be conducted by staff who are Licensed in New Mexico for abatement of materials as described. Abatement activities shall include but may not be limited to, the following: a. Collection of materials b. Securing of materials c. Manifesting the Materials for shipment d. Proper disposal at a facility licensed to accept the Materials. e. Documentation of disposal to include location of the disposal site and EPA permit number for the disposal site. f. All work shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal standards. g. Provide supervision of the work and worksite to the satisfaction of the County. h. Obtain any necessary licenses and permits and to comply with any Federal, State, and municipal laws, codes and regulations applicable to performance of the Services. i. Work areas shall be maintained in a workman like condition, free from accumulations of waste or Materials. j. Provide a signed, notarized manifest from the receiving agency to demonstrate transfer of the Materials to a proper disposal facility.
