Specifications include, but are not limited to: IA 25 has a damaged tile running longitudinal (Parallel) to the roadway in need of repair. A sink hole has developed in the ditch fore slope on the west side of the roadway. The tile is an 18” diameter clay tile that has failed at the abovementioned mile post and station referenced. The fore slope of the west ditch will need to be shored and stabilized for repairs to be made. The tile is located at a depth of 12-14 feet below the surface grade of the Right of Way. The tile shall be replaced through the length of damaged area and re connected on each end at a location where the existing tile is intact and not damaged. The tile will need to jetted to and cleaned to confirm that the tile is flowing, and no other obstruction are present. All disturbed should and fore slope shall be restored with 95 percent compaction and reseeded with rural seed requirements. Shoulder surface shall be replaced using the material currently present. 1. Approx. 25 feet of solid wall 18-inch plastic pipe. Joints shall be wrapped with engineering fabric. 2. Standard Road Plan EC-103 shall be followed for restoring disturbed for slope. Back fill and grading shall be done in lifts using compaction to restore Right of Way to original condition. 3. Table 2601.03.1 shall be referenced for reseeding Right of Way. 4. Shoring shall be required 5. Standard Road Plan for Traffic Control shall follow TC-202. 6. Shoulder shall be restored to original condition if removal is needed. 7. Existing tile shall be jetted and cleaned after completions to confirm tile is not plugged at any other location. Shoulder of IA 25 shall be not used parking or storage of non-essential vehicles.
