Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1. This project is for the acquisition and implementation, and ongoing maintenance and operations of a Roadway Network Screening and Safety Management System. It will also include training. 2.1.2. The Operations & Safety Bureau (OSB) is responsible for managing the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). Data-driven Roadway Network Screening is a core component of the Highway Safety assessment process and is the primary means by which OSB analysts identify safety locations and countermeasures. Vermont currently has had no dedicated roadway network crash screening and analysis tool. We expect this to do all site-specific and systemic, risk-based screening. It will be used to identify locations that are the best candidates for safety improvements and safety projects.
