Specifications include, but are not limited to: West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors (“BOG”) located in Morgantown, West Virginia (“WVU” or “University”) is initiating this Request for Bids (“RFB”) from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors for the rebuild of Chiller-2 in order to keep the system running until a full building cooling system overhaul is performed. Chiller-2 requires rebuilding due to having five (5) times the allowable limit of iron content in the oil. Contractor is required to purchase the necessary parts and equipment to meet the rebuild and then provide the rebuild services in the cooler months of Fall 2023, unless the chiller fails prior to the scheduled rebuild.
