Specifications include, but are not limited to: This scope of work is to provide rust removal and painting of the Expo Center Building and Ag Pavilion at the Indian River County Fairgrounds. The Indian River County Fairgrounds is located at 7955 58th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32967 as shown on Figure 1. The Expo Center is approximately 22,000 sf metal and concrete structure, as shown in the photographs in Figure 2. The Ag Pavilion is an open-air metal structure that has a footprint of approximately 32,500 sf as shown in Figure 2. The County is seeking proposals for this rust removal and painting based on general specifications. Ag Pavilion • Pressure clean with chemical treatment to remove all foreign substrates • Mask all lights and skylights with plastic sheeting to protect • Grind out, sand and prep rusty metal • Repair any rusted holes in the metal siding • Prime all rusty or bare metal areas • Prep and paint all post • Prep and paint all beams • Prep and paint all vertical siding, both sides • Prep and paint the underside of the roof • Prep and paint all gutters and downspouts Expo Pavilion • Pressure clean the full exterior with chemical treatment to remove all foreign substrates • Grind out, sand and prep rusty metal • Repair any rusted holes in the metal siding • Mask all windows and exterior lights with plastic sheeting to protect • Prime exterior of building (this includes the area inside of the three south roll up doors) • Paint the complete exterior of the building (this includes the area inside of the three south roll up doors) • Prep and paint the 30 aluminum shutters (all sides) • Prep and paint the 4 louvered vents on the north and south end of the building • Prep, seal and paint all window frames (this includes the window frames inside of the three south roll up doors) • Prep and paint all sides of the 16 exterior doors and jambs (this includes the six doors inside of the three south roll up doors) • Prep and paint the 5 roll up door on both sides • Prep and paint all gutters and downspouts • Prep and paint all outside air conditioning ducts
