Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected vendor(s) will provide ‘school of origin’ to-and-from transportation services for students in foster care and homeless students for the Albuquerque Public Schools District on an “as-needed” basis throughout the year. Work shall be coordinated with the APS Student, Family and Community Supports Division (foster care students) and the APS Title I Department/McKinney Vento Homeless Program (homeless students). The work to be performed under this contract is subject to strict APS internal controls. After approval by the Student, Family and Community Supports Division (foster care) or the Title I Department/McKinney Vento Homeless Program (homeless), services will be scheduled for individual students. Contractor shall not accept work requested directly from the schools, parents, foster parents or outside agencies. Contractor shall proceed with work only after receiving proper authorization (which includes an approved APS Purchase Order) from authorized contact(s) from the Student, Family and Community Supports Division or the Title I Department/McKinney Vento Homeless Program.
