Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendors are invited to bid unit prices on the outright purchase of one (1) fully assembled Mobile Forensic andInterview Vehicle which consists of a current model year Ford Transit Cargo Van (or city approved equal)upfitted with custom built forensic and interview equipment to be furnished and delivered to the IndianapolisMetropolitan Police Department (IMPD), Indianapolis Fleet Services Division (IFS) in Marion County, IN. Thespecifications describe a self-contained unit, and the awarded vendor shall furnish and assemble allcomponents so that each unit is 100% ready for use upon delivery. (This will include all features, parts, andattachments necessary to form a complete unit, whether specifically mentioned herein or not.) Each unitshall be of such design and construction as to comply with the requirements stated herein. Otherdepartments and agencies of the City of Indianapolis and Marion County may also utilize the resultingcontract under the same pricing, terms, and conditions.
