Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Nebraska (State), Department of Correctional Services, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) Number 114772 O3 for the purpose of selecting a qualified Contractor to provide Refuse Hauling Services. Contractor will transport NDCS owned compacted full receiver box from a NDCS Facility to a designated landfill. Contractor will empty and properly dispose of the contents within the landfill site. Contractor will return empty NDCS owned receiver box to exchange containers upon next scheduled pick-up/delivery at the facility. This will be an all-inclusive service. Additional trip charges, fuel surcharges or mileage are not permitted. 1. Vehicle/transport equipment must be compatible with an Outside Rail/Cable hitch system to connect and haul receiver box from a facility to landfill. 2. Haul empty receiver box to facility and swap it with the full receiver box. 3. Haul full receiver box to landfill and discard contents. 4. Securely store one (1) empty NDCS owned receiver box on contractors’ property until the following scheduled pick up. 5. When a full bin is ready to be removed, the contractor will take the empty bin to the facility and exchange it with the full bin. 6. Establish a primary contact person, including the contact’s name, address, phone, fax and email addresses. 7. Employ qualified properly trained personnel.
