Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Engage a project manager to ensure the University’s public facing websites are accessible to people with disabilities and comply with standards identified by the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) of the U.S. Department of Education. • Engage a project manager to develop and manage a project plan, coordinate communication with all the content editors at the university, and perform checks to ensure the work has been completed. • Engage a vendor to conduct an audit within 120 days of contract commencement to identify barriers to access the university’s public facing websites. Conduct an audit on five (5) websites: o https://unh.edu o https://admissions.unh.edu https://cola.unh.edu o https://unh.edu/dining o https://www.unh.edu/financialaid/ https://unh.edu/business-services or https://unh.edu/housing • The audit must consist of taking inventory and engaging in manual testing to identify barriers using the criteria described below under Contract Responsibilities. • Identify a pattern of needed modifications to apply to websites not included above. • As barriers are identified, the project manager will work with the University to remediate those barriers. o Project manager will work with website manager to develop a timeline to implement the remedies. • Project Manager will check the sites to ensure the barriers are removed and ready for OCR to assess the effectiveness of the remediation steps taken by the project manager and content editors. • Project manager will assist UNH in developing a plan regarding how it intends to maintain the accessibility of the websites going forward.
