Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The vendor shall work with the City to ensure that systems and products used in construction or design are not proprietary in nature. If a proprietary item is needed, the vendor shall receive approval in writing from authorized Zoo staff prior to using. 2. The vendor shall provide the following services: i. evaluation of the site ii. geotechnical investigation iii. feasibility assessment iv. provide architectural and engineering surveys v. preparation of construction drawings vi. cost estimates and budget vii. renderings of the preliminary design(s) viii. structural design certified by a licensed structural engineer ix. construction inspection x. creation of bid documents for General Contractor xi. oversight and/or construction contract management xii. project closeout 4. The vendor shall utilize the City’s approved Construction Contract and General Conditions. The Contract Documents shall not consist of any AIA Agreement, General or Supplementary Conditions. 5. The vendor shall provide services that meet or exceed the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and any updates thereto. Any exceptions to the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, including drawings, specifications, plans, or other work, shall be noted in writing, and approved by the City.
