Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful bidder shall be responsible for supplying all fuel, manpower, equipment and equipment maintenance, and safety equipment necessary to complete the following scope of work and fulfill the terms of the contract. Should the need arise, the successful bidder shall also be responsible for traffic control while on site. • The access drive to the cemetery is approximately 20’ wide, 225’ in length, and ends in a 120’ diameter cul-de-sac. There are currently 3-4 catch basins installed in various locations, and two water lines run perpendicular under the pavement. • Significant drainage/flooding issues occur primarily on the left side of the access drive, for a distance of approximately 15’ off the pavement and into the burial area. This impacts both current burials and future use of graves in this area. • Proposals/plans to mitigate or eliminate this issue, including any alternatives, should be attached to the bid form and clearly outline the method(s) of repair/improvement. • As this is an active cemetery, the successful bidder must provide an initial, firm schedule for completion of the work. The Trustees will endeavor to work with other local businesses to delay burials during that time whenever possible, however, work delays may be necessary. • The successful bidder agrees to accept responsibility for any damage to graves, headstones, or other private/cemetery property that may occur as a result of the project.
