Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Nashua, NH, herein referred to as “the City”, is seeking qualifications from qualified vendors for Professional Engineering Services for the design, specification, bidding and construction administration of the Fire Alarm Upgrades project at the Nashua Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) located at 2 Sawmill Road, Nashua, NH. The selected engineering firm shall provide Professional Engineering Services for the design, specifications, bidding and construction administration including but not limited to the following: • Design the upgrades for a modern, addressable alarm system. • Evaluate the existing alarm components such as smoke alarms and pull alarms to determine if any components can be reused. • Evaluate the existing fire alarm signal cables to determine if it can be reused or should be replaced. • Develop 60% plans, specifications and estimate for review by staff. • Develop 90% plans, specifications and detailed construction estimate for review by staff. • Develop final plans, specifications for bidding. • Provide assistance as needed during the bid phase of project.
