Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The goal of this project is to perform inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjusting and testing of critical electrical systems at the BCUA facility identified in the appendix table “BCUA Electrical Maintenance and Testing Equipment List”. 2. All work will be performed to NETA testing standards and be done in compliance with OSHA safety rules. Contractors shall be responsible for ALL safety procedures including INDIVIDUAL/GROUP LOTO, HOT STICKING, SAFETY GROUNDING, REMOVAL OF GROUNDS, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ETC. Contractors must account for all grounds upon completion of work, prior to the re-energizing of equipment. The following is a general description only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the Work to be performed. 3. The scope includes all necessary switching, racking etc. to perform the work. Contractors shall provide technicians knowledgeable and capable of performing this necessary switching, racking along with the proper equipment and PPE. BCUA electrical staff shall assist in operating electrical breakers at main substation to deenergize 5kV feeders at main substation. However, Contractors shall be responsible for all switching, hot stick verification, racking etc. on the equipment listed in the attached list of equipment as necessary to perform the testing and maintenance. 4. For exact quantities of critical electrical systems to be worked refer to the appendix table “BCUA Electrical Maintenance and Testing Equipment List”.
