Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor will manage all aspects of publishing and printing an updated and revised version of an already existing magazine-type publication for the byways program. Tasks will include researching and writing content; taking photos on location at the byways; creating maps; designing page layouts; printing and saddle stitching; and shipping to a location to be determined by Kansas Tourism. Basic details include: • Finished size: 8 3/8” x 10 7/8” • 40 pages plus cover without advertising OR 52 pages plus cover with advertising • Ink: four-color process; flood gloss UV coating on outside of cover • Bleeds where appropriate for layout design • Paper stock o interior pages: 60 lb #3 gloss text OR a comparable paper stock o cover: open to suggestions that are compatible with interior paper stock • Quantity: 75,000 OR 100,000 • Delivery date to Kansas Tourism: between December 31, 2023, and February 15, 2024
