Specifications include, but are not limited to: Site design shall include but is not limited to the following: Geotechnical inspection and report; environmental and cultural investigation and report; professional survey to determine existing grades and utilities; existing utility locates to support design; construction drawings and specifications; and building access layout such as sidewalks, parking areas, and storm and surface water retention areas. The design shall also include construction drawings and specifications including the following: Fleet Maintenance facility with a Compressed Natural Gas Compliant (CNGC) H-2 designation which meets all local, state and federal regulations, to include a minimum of four drive through bays to accommodate up to eight (8) vehicles. The maintenance facility shall include, but is not limited to, a room to store parts and equipment, oil storage area, two (2) pits for truck lifts, overhead piping for all fluids, overhead crane trolley, a vehicle exhaust system and standalone truck wash bay. The Maintenance area will house seven (7) staff members and will require three (3) administrative offices. Included within the same building and separated by an interior wall, a facility for field operations supervisor/managerial staff to include but not limited to, six (6) administrative offices, a training room with kitchen to accommodate eighty (80) staff members for meetings and breaks/meals, restrooms with showers and lockers for fifty-six (56) drivers. Standalone Administration facility to include but is not limited to, a public foyer with service window which meets (Americans with Disabilities Act) ADA requirements, administrative offices to accommodate fourteen (14) staff personnel, a conference room, a break area with kitchenette, restroom facilities, storage spaces, and utilities closets. The Design of the facilities should incorporate innovative elements equivalent to the gold Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system for new construction standards, including, but not limited to, alternative water, energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. The proposed facilities shall be designed to create safe and functional working space for the Environmental Services Division. The awarded contractor will work with the project manager, and designated representatives to determine the requirements of the facility.
