Specifications include, but are not limited to: Testing, maintaining, setting, repairing, or replacing all sensor probes. This includes but not limited to conductivity, flow, temperature, pressure, and tower level probes. Calibration, programing, maintaining, cleaning, repair or replacement of control monitors, chemical pumps, actuating valves and equipment and probes for conductivity, flow, temperature, tower level probes within the piping systems. Cooling tower system (cooling towers are located on the NW corner of the facility grounds), chilled water, and mechanical hot water analysis, testing and treatment to prevent microbiological and legionella growth. Verification and adjustment of conductivity set point thru saturation index calculations Monthly biocide test to ensure microbiological control of systems. Maintaining, calibrating, setting, repairing, or replacing parts to the blow down and purge system. This will include but not limited to actuating valves, controllers, probes, and sensors. Testing City of Chicago make up water to the tower so to adjust facility chemical feed to tower systems. Testing, adjusting cooling tower system water conductivity, alkalinity, calcium, temperature, ph. chlorides to prevent bacteria and legionella growth. Inspections of cooling towers, piping, manual valves, actuating valves, circulating pumps, chemical pumps, tower fill, tower deck, chemical feed hoses, S.O cords to probes. Provide and supply to the systems all chemicals needed to maintain proper treatment to prevent legionella, bacteria growth, corrosion and scale accumulation in tower system, chilled water, and mechanical hot water systems. Provide documentation of compliance to EPA and CDC bacteria control and Legionella prevention guidelines. Program and start up Integrated Wave Water Treatment 2.0 System and all related equipment. Provide digital reports to the facility contact person of all water sample results, analyses, chemicals added, make up water supply in gallons per month, blow down in gallons per month and recommendations or suggestions to improve system operations. Shut down, isolate, and drain Integrated Wave Water Treatment 2.0 System and all related equipment and chemical equipment at the end of the cooling season. Mechanical hot water system will be monitored, tested, and maintained twice a month for twelve months for the length of the contract. Chilled water, cooling tower system and Wave Water Treatment 2.0 system will be monitored, tested, and maintained twice a month during the cooling season starting from the time the cooling system is filled with mechanical water to the time the cooling system is drained of its mechanical water. The facility will schedule the testing and monitoring dates with the vendor prior to when the cooling system is filled. Provide maintenance of strainers/repair or replace any filters within the Wave Water Treatment 2.0 System, chilled water, and mechanical hot water systems.
