Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting quotes from contractors for the drilling and completion of one (1) water well, with test pump, basic chemical analysis, and disinfection. Work at the Central Landfill is to be accomplished on Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Provide access to Central Landfill for delivery. A. Provide schedule for drilling. B. Be familiar with all job requirements, prior to submission of bid. C. Ensure that work is done in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. D. Inform PM of any setbacks or other issues as soon as possible. Casing material shall be 6 inch steel pipe (0.250 wall thickness) in drilled wells. Steel pipe casing shall be used for all driven wells. The well casing pipe shall be marked according to the applicable ASTM specification for the material used. The well casing pipe, couplings, and screens shall be homogeneous throughout and shall be free of visible cracks, holes, foreign materials, or other injurious defects. All wells shall have steel casing extending a minimum of 18 inches above the ground surface. Casing shall be used to seal out undesirable surface or shallow ground water from the well, and to support the sides of the hole through unstable earth materials. All well casings shall be watertight. the depth is estimated at 250-feet based on well logs in the area;
