Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide installation, repair, parts, & labor of Lawn Irrigation Systems for The Office of Facilities & Property Management. a. The State of Kansas currently has lawn irrigation systems installed at the Statehouse, Kansas Judicial Center, Curtis State Office Building, Eisenhower State Office Building, and Cedar Crest properties. The irrigation systems are primarily for turf, but include some for trees, bushes, and other landscape features. b. The system at the Statehouse and Kansas Judicial Center are Hunter, 2-wire systems. c. The system at CSOB, ESOB, and Cedar Crest are conventional systems. d. Awarded contractor must have 5 years’ experience in repairing the above systems. e. Work to be performed will be for Irrigation: Installation, Repairs, Parts, and Labor f. The Contractor will be notified by Grounds Supervisor when work is required. Contractor must respond to work requests within 48 hours of contact. Contractor will be given a Work Order to provide an estimate for time, labor, and parts. Grounds Supervisor will approve the estimate prior to the contractor beginning work. No work will be done without an approved work order. g. Work may be scheduled during normal State work hours. h. Contractor must notify Grounds Supervisor when work is completed so work can be inspected, and contractor released.
