Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Rhode Island Department of Administration/Division of Purchases, on behalf of the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (“DEM”), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide all labor, skill, supervision, tools, construction plans, equipment, and materials, and perform all operations to properly remove and dispose of existing deck boards, and provide installation of deck boards located within the Port of Galilee on the finger pier sections of docks MM, TT & UU. It is DEM’s intent to remove and replace the identified deck boards, in order to ensure the highest levels of functionality and safety within the Port of Galilee. MM Dock (finger pier sections only): This dock is situated in the north-west section of Galilee and provides berthing for 40’ class vessels. The eight (8) finger pier sections are approximately eight feet (8’) wide. These sections have been poorly maintained and towards the end of their useful life. TT Dock (finger pier sections only): This dock is situated in the northern section of Galilee and provides berthing for 40-45’ class vessels. The twelve (12) finger pier sections are approximately eight feet (8’) wide. These sections have been poorly maintained and towards the end of their useful life.
