Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Works with Talent Management to increase recruitment opportunities and determine needs for special education recruitment b. Works with Directors in Special Education to assist in addressing needs for openings. c. Support on-line and face to face job fairs and college job placement opportunities. d. Conduct Interviews either independently or with Special Education administration e. Continue positive communication with interested candidates f. Ongoing communication with eligible to hires and intents through text, email or phone calls g. Support divisions and schools with recruitment for high needs openings h. Assist with monitoring Frontline for potential candidates including GETS i. Begin looking at options for midyear hires and the 23/24 school year j. Research current best practices for recruitment and retention for future district opportunities k. Support short term retention work for new teachers l. Support long term retention work for new teachers as needed m. Attend meetings with ASD staff both in person and virtually.
