Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University is interested in purchasing furniture and other related furnishings for the UNO Durham Science Center. This project requires the capability of a supplier to manage, order, deliver and service a large volume of goods in a timely and efficient manner. The Successful Contractor, as a minimum, shall provide the following services: Provide design and product selection services. Be willing to meet with department employees on an individual and/or department basis to offer assistance and expertise in efficient use of the products offered and space, assessing furniture needs. Show samples, color choices, and any other options pertinent to their situation. Develop preliminary floor plan (to scale) using manufacturer's recommendations for functional design standards in AutoCAD. Review preliminary floor plan with department personnel adjusting and/or modifying the floor plan as-needed. Bidder will be responsible for disposal of all packing/crating/waste material. The University of Nebraska campuses do not have trash receptacles available on campus for disposal of packing/crating/waste materials. All work done should comply with all codes, standards, ordinances, rules, and regulations as applicable to the project. If any portion of this contract requires various permits or licenses, the Contractor should obtain or assist the University of Nebraska in obtaining all such permits and licenses.
