Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Fairbanks International Airport (FAI) is seeking professional environmental services for the investigation and remedial action of sites contaminated with hazardous substances and the development of site-specific, regional risk-based soil and groundwater cleanup levels in accordance with 18 AAC 75. Management of contaminated sites includes site characterization, remediation, long-term monitoring and institutional control programs that necessitate planning, reporting, and coordination with regulatory agencies. Additional environmental services needed may include: the review, development, and implementation of environmental management system (EMS), stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP), spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC) plan and waste management plan; support with permits, compliance, and conformity issues; and hydrogeological modeling, geotechnical surveys, environmental planning, and feasibility studies.
