Specifications include, but are not limited to: NATURAL GAS • STA 14+00 – 15+00 o NMGCO intends to hot tap existing 2-inch steel main across Jarales Rd and tie-in new 2- inch PE main. A new 2-inch PE main will be installed from STA 14+00 Rt to STA 18+20, the new Duke Rd turnout. The new 2-inch PE main will follow new Duke Rd along the Rt shoulder from Duke Rd STA 18+45 to 46+75. The new 2-inch PE main will be capped at this ending location. The top of the 2-inch PE main will be placed a minimum of 3’ below existing grade. o NMGCO will oversee installation of new main and will pig and pressure test all 2-inch PE pipe prior to installing. NMGCO will pad, backfill and compact. o This work will be done concurrent with the construction of the Duke Rd realignment. NMGCO estimates 3 days to complete this work. • STA 16+50 – 18+50 Lt o NMGCO intends to retire a section of 2-inch steel main that follows under existing Jarales Rd, but will be the future graded area between new Jarales Rd and South Jarales Frontage Rd. NMGCO will install a replacement section of 2-inch steel main pipe within NMDOT right-of-way. New line will follow the north shoulder (Lt side) of Audra Ct and the east side (Rt side) of South Jarales Frontage Rd. o The top of the 2-inch PE main will be placed a minimum of 3’ below existing grade. o NMGCO will oversee installation of new main and will stop gas flow along the 2-inch steel main segment that is being replaced. NMGCO will pad, backfill and compact. NMGCO will disconnect, purge, and abandon the mentioned section of 2-inch steel main pipe. o This work will be done concurrent with the construction of the South Jarales Frontage Rd. NMGCO estimates 4 days to complete this work.
