Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City needs up to two construction type Laborers for duties such as general earthwork construction and road paving laboring (working on road projects including paving), general maintenance activities related to Public works and Parks operations, to include picking up rubbish and loading it into a rubbish truck as part of the City’s daily rubbish collection program, grounds maintenance, labor duties associated with winter operations and general commercial type garage operations and/or working at the City’s landfill and recycling facility doing labor duties such as manual littler pick-up, working on annual cleaning and maintenance tasks related to landfill systems, mowing and brush cutting and helping in the recycling area as needed. Workzone training and flagger training is desired but not required.
