Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Board of Trustees of West Ada School District is requesting bids for Exterior Paint and Seal at Mary McPherson Elementary School, 1050 E Amity Road, Meridian ID 83642. Scope of work consists of all previously painted exterior surfaces unless modified in description of work and per General Notes and Masonry cleaning and waterproofing on all exterior walls. 1. The Contractor shall verify all existing conditions and verify all dimensions prior to bidding. No Drawings are provided. 2. Re-paint all hollow metal windows, doors and frames with primer and two coats. Sand the entire surface removing all brush marks, sags, runs, loose paint, and imperfections. Request Architects review and approval prior to priming. Contractor shall mask all adjacent surfaces and spray apply primer and finish coats. Paint interior and exterior sides of all corridor entry/exit doors, frames, sidelights etc. 3. The painting Contractor is responsible to patch and repair existing damage, crack and defects, fill holes etc. 4. All materials shall be installed in accordance with the m and specifications. 5. The Contactor shall keep all areas of work clean and free of all debris. Contractor is responsible to clean up on a daily basis. After construction is complete, the Contractor shall provide final clean-up. a. Paint both the interior and exterior side of all entry/exit doors and frames including sidelights. b. Paint downspouts. c. Paint previously painted concrete wall surfaces. d. Paint previously painted metal wall panels. e. Paint previously painted exposed wood beams. f. Paint previously painted exterior wood soffits. g. Paint previously painted CMU walls. h. Paint previously painted wood trim & fascia.
