Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Barrington is inviting qualified firms/consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications to provide consultant services to complete an Athletic Fields Condition and Needs Analysis and related services. 1. Kickoff meeting with the Town to review project objectives, initial plans completed for the sites and formalize a schedule for completion of the project. 2. Gather information required for this study through stakeholder interviews – including representatives from the Town (DPW, Recreation Department, Administration), Park and Recreation Commission (Chair and/or the Chair’s designee), youth sports league representatives, and Schools (including the athletic director) 3. Complete an existing Conditions Assessment, utilizing professional judgment and standards, to document and evaluate: a. Existing Town fields, including field surface conditions, compliance with field dimension requirements of each youth sports group that uses the facility, drainage design including subsurface conditions, parking, vehicular circulation, bike and pedestrian access, restrooms, fencing, safety issues, lighting (as applicable). The sites are as follows: i. Multipurpose Fields: St. Andrews Farm multipurpose field, Chianese Park, Barrington Middle School, the “Library Field” at the High School ii. Combination Baseball/Multipurpose Fields: Haines Park (senior baseball field near Washington Road), Bicknell Park iii. Little League Baseball Fields: Veterans Memorial Park near Bayside Y, Sherwood Park, Harrington Field at Haines Park, Chianese Park, Barrington Middle School, Sowams School, Nayatt School iv. Girls Softball: Haines Park
