Specifications include, but are not limited to: To provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to condition nineteen thousand (19,000) gallons of diesel fuel for facility generators that is currently stored in one (1) above ground tank and three (3) underground tanks, as well as to clean the inside of the four (4) gas tanks. Requirements: To clean the inside of one (1) ten thousand (10,000) gallon above ground tank To clean the inside of three (3) four thousand (4,000) gallon underground tanks To filter/polish approximately nineteen thousand (19, 000) gallons of fuel To chemically treat approximately nineteen thousand (19,000) gallons of fuel with the following chemical additives: a cetane booster, an oxygen scavenger a corrosive inhibitor detergent flocculants. To use anti-static stingers for all services required in the removal of water/debris, tank cleaning, and fuel filtering/polishing. Upon completion of the chemical treatment, the vendor will clean the tanks to remove any free-standing water, debris, and contamination from all fuel tanks. Once Free-standing water, debris, and other contaminants are removed, the vendor will begin filtering/polishing the fuel. First stage: Vendor will filter/polish with a fifty (50) micron bag filter. Second Stage: Vendor will filter/polish fuel using a seventeen (17) Micron nominal filter. Final Stage: Vendor will filter/polish fuel using a ten (10) micron beta one thousand (1,000) water absorbing filter. The vendor will provide two (2) man crews that will have all the safety, spill prevention, and personal protective equipment necessary to complete the job safely. The vendor’s equipment will have its own power source. The vendor will take fuel samples from all tanks after the cleaning process is complete and test them at an independent third-party lab. The test will include measuring cetane, bacteria, water, and water in suspension.
