Specifications include, but are not limited to: 40” x 54” Pallets shall have the following features: 1. Pallet design shall be two-way flush. 2. Overall size of 40 x 54 inches (w x 1) constructed of new hardwood. 3. Pallets shall be designed with three runners of 2" x 4" x 54" actual minimum measurements, 1⅜” x 3½” x 54". Outside runners shall be spaced 40" outside. Inside runner shall be at mid-point 20". 4. Top of the pallets shall consist of 1" x 6" boards, 40" long actual minimum measurements ¾“ x 5½” x 40" with no more than 1½” between boards. 5. Bottoms of the pallet shall consist of 1" x 6" x 40" actual minimum measurement ¾” x 5½” x 40" similar to the top except the third 1” x 6” from each edge will be eliminated (to allow use of pallet jack). These remaining boards shall also be spaced no more than 1½”. The area where the boards are eliminated shall be no less than 8⅜”, starting 12½” from end. 6. Pallets shall be capable of no less than 3600# load. 7. FOB Manhattan or alternate bid customer pickup. 8. Top and bottom lumber secured with a minimum of nine fasteners per board 9. 420 Pallets
