Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Collection, Compilation and Analysis of Existing Data 1. Bidder must research career development programs that are currently in use or under development in other areas to better understand what programs are currently available. a) Of these programs, the bidder will research any potential recruitment/retention, skill development or other outcomes from these programs. 2. Bidder may look at trends and projections for other healthcare support occupations. 3. Bidder must demonstrate how it will gather and analyze data to track important employment trends in healthcare support occupations, such as pay, potential need for these positions based on growing demand in the state to better understand current and future support needs. 4. Bidder must research possible financial incentives for increases in education. 5. Bidder must explain what types of data it proposes to trend. B. Data Collection 1. Bidder must provide a proposed timeline for the data gathering activities proposed in the scope of work. 2. Bidder must indicate the methods it will use to conduct the data gathering activities in the proposed scope of work. 3. Bidder must explain how the data collection methods developed, as a result of this project, can be maintained. C. Data Analysis 1. Bidder must demonstrate, in its proposal, how it will meet the data analysis requirements necessary to fulfill the project. D. Project Requirements: 1. Bidder must partner with community-based organizations to align college/career readiness curriculum and setup pathways into direct care programs. 2. Bidder must identify new or emerging opportunities for DSWs to obtain certificates or professional development credentials. 3. Bidder must create a comprehensive career map for DSW roles with on and off ramps to other educational ladders and methods for promoting understanding of these pathways within the direct service workforce 4. Bidder must create and promote alignment with other statewide and regional educational institutions e.g. vocational technical schools.
