Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Chelsea is requesting sealed bid proposals from qualified contractors for the above referenced project. Bid opening will occur immediately after the bid submittal deadline. The project is located at 150 feet North and 150 feet South (300 feet total) from the Chelsea Fire Station along VT Route 110, east side of road. Description of work includes existing four foot sidewalk removal and reconstruction to ADA standards, five feet wide, adding six inches on both sides of existing sidewalk. New construction will be concrete sidewalk with 2% cross slope max, and VTrans Standard C-28. Detectable Warning Surfaces will be installed on each end of the Fire Station Driveway. There are two residential driveways affected by this project, one North and one South of the fire station.
