Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Board is accepting proposals for consideration from qualified entities with solid financial standing and a proven track record of serving the community with three or more years of event or festival planning experience. If the Entity does not have sufficient expertise in event planning, they may be considered if they partner with a qualified event planning organization and/or another not-for-profit with the requisite experience. The selected Entity shall execute duties professionally while supporting the objective of building the City's brand identity, awareness, exposure, and fiscal sustainability.; ; The Board is seeking new and creative ideas separate from any past historical events or locations except for the Annual Holiday Parade. The City will provide the selected Entity with coordination and Planning documentation for the Holiday Parade. The Board is seeking a minimum of five (5) events within the calendar year, including the Holiday Parade. The events may occur at any time throughout the year and shall be conducted within the boundaries of the CBSD (Appendix A).Events could include but are not limited to: Food and Music Festival Cultural Festivals Art & Wine Festival Business Community Cultivation Family Fun day Farmer's Market's Craft Fairs/Holiday Markets Parades Other; While the City is seeking family-friendly events, it is recognized that providing alcohol is a helpful way of attracting attendance. Proposals may include a component for adult beverages offered in a safe and manageable approach. However, it is not expected that alcohol is the primary focus or purpose of any event.
