Specifications include, but are not limited to: Currently the NMDOT has hundreds of delinquent accounts totaling thousands of dollars which are owed to the NMDOT, due to various outstanding damage claims concerning NMDOT property and fixtures. The objective of this ITB is to execute a contract for debt collection services to collect on unpaid damage claims for NMDOT. The selected contractor must provide the necessary labor and material for these services, which includes but is not limited to: 1. Secure and Encrypted Files. The Contractor must be capable of receiving and sending account information to and from the NMDOT electronically in a secure and encrypted environment, including in a format agreed to by the NMDOT. 2. Purging Files. When assigned accounts are pulled back from the Contractor, the associated account information must be purged from the Contractor’s database. When requested by the NMDOT, the Contractor must provide a report listing accounts purged by the Contractor. 3. Transmit Payments. The Contractor is capable of transmitting payments to the NMDOT’s fiscal agent, electronically in a secure, encrypted environment, in the NACHA standard banking format. 4. Organizational Experience. The Contractor possesses relevant corporate experience and success with state government and private sector clients in providing collection services similar in scope to the work in this ITB.
