The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Concrete Substructure Repair to the St. Georges Bridge in St.George, DE.
Contract work consists of the repair of severely advanced deteriorated concrete substructure piers with large spalls, delaminated concrete, and exposed rebar. Repairs will include removal and replacement of these significantly deteriorated areas of concrete. The total repair area for all of the piers is expected to be approximately 10,000 sf. The acquisition will be made using sealed bidding, a single award will be made as a whole, to the lowest priced, responsive bidder determined to be responsible in accordance with FAR Part 14 Procedures. The current working estimate for the contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

D. Option 2: Concrete Substructure Repairs - South Side (6S - 16S) 2,420 SF
E. Option 3: Concrete Substructure Repairs - South Side (17S to South Abutment) 585 SF
-Liquidated Damages. The awarded contract will contain Liquidated Damages at a rate to be specified in the Solicitation
-Period of performance will last 600 days from 10/15/2021 through 6/7/2023. The current working estimate for the contract is between 2,000,000 and 5,000,000.
