Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Vehicle should be of such size and dimensions (preferred size less than 32 feet and under 26,000 lbs. GVWR, automatic transmission) that it can be driven to designated sites, preferable but not essential, by a non-CDL driver. • Minimum two entrance/exit doors are required. • Adequate HVAC for a vehicle of this size. o Capability to plug in overnight to maintain adequate climate control. o Emergency battery back-up. • Disability accessible (wheelchair accessible via a passenger lift/ramp). • Vehicle should have capability to supply its own electrical power for on board electronics and be able to plug into an external power source. • Vehicle should be able to have on board secure internet/WiFi capability to process DMV transactions in "real time”. o the vendor provides requirements for internet service. • There should be an on board safe to secure funds collected. • Private staff break area to include restroom, and break area with microwave, refrigerator, etc. There should be an adequate supply of hot and cold water and/or space for a bottled water cooler. • Area for 3 employee workstations, one of which must be ADA compliant: o Each station must be 5 feet wide and will include the following equipment at each workstation: Computer Monitor Keyboard Mouse Scanner Bar code scanner Printer Credit card machine Validator stamp Office supplies (pens, paper, license tray, Reg tray to store their paperwork) • Dedicated private supervisor's area (may be co-located in employee break area if dictated by interior space limitations). • Manual or power outside awning. • At least 2 digital message boards readable from at least 50 feet to call/notify next customer. • Interior waiting area for at least 3 customers - not at service counters. • Security cameras and panic alarm system with local audible alarm and automatic electronic notification to E-911 or local law enforcement and main DMV headquarters.
