Specifications include, but are not limited to: Base bid will include all labor, equipment, materials and supplies to provide for the replacement of five (5) ceiling-mounted overhead volleyball standards with nets and support system for the main gymnasium. This project requires direct replacement of existing units, removal of current triple-court net system to be able to hook up new ceiling-mounted overhead volleyball standards with nets and support system, including all necessary electrical work to support the project. 1. This project includes the removal of the old electric motors and cable system used to raise/lower the volleyball standards with new electric motors and cable system. 2. The suspended system must include a judge’s stand, volleyball net and antennae, manual or electrical height adjusters for the net, and connection to our current master control box for a toggle switch to control the raising and lowering of the volleyball net standards system. 3. This project includes the removal of a current triple-court volleyball net system that spans across courts #7 and #8 which created 3 volleyball courts with an individual net standard system for each court. 4. Recreational Services will retain the old volleyball nets and antennae. Dimensions: 1. Volleyball Courts Dimensions are: 29’ 6” x 60’ 2. Lines for court are already on the floor. System must be installed to fit the court. 3. Gym Space Dimensions are: 66’ x 97’ 8” 4. System will be installed on courts #3, #4, #6, #7, and #8 in the main gymnasium of Chester E. Peters Recreation Complex. 5. Ceiling Attachment Height: Approximately 32’0”
