Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Mat-Su 2024 ArcticWinter Games Host Society (“Host Society”) to prospective proponents to submita proposal for transportation services, as outlined below and in the appendices.The Mat-Su 2024 Arctic Winter Games Host Society was formed to plan and delivera world class sporting and cultural event, welcoming 2,000 participants and anequal number of volunteers, from around the circumpolar north. The Mat-Su 2024Arctic Winter Games Host Society is a signatory to a tripartite Hosting Agreement,signed October 15, 2021 with both the Arctic Winter Games International Committee, the Arctic Winter Games rights holders, and the Matanuska Susitna Borough, the host community. This event includes 21 indoor and outdoor winter sport competitions as well as a weeklong Indigenous cultural exchange program. The Mat-Su 2024 Arctic Winter Games will be held March 10-16, 2024 with most events being held in the core area of Palmer and Wasilla, Alaska.
