Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this bid is for the City of Lincoln to establish a contract/s with Vendors to rent a 4-wheel regenerative air street sweeper for demonstration purposes, and attachments according to industry standards and as requested under these specifications and the contract documents agreed to by both parties. The equipment shall be most current advertised production model with all standard advertised equipment, except where the item is replaced by options over standard equipment of conflicting equipment is specified. 1.1.1. Vendors shall provide a monthly rental cost for each piece of equipment in the Ebid system. 1.1.2. Rental rates will be established for equipment as full time and seasonal periods. 1.1.3. Rental of full-time equipment shall be based on a maximum of 160 sweeping hours per month with option for additional hours at a price included in the Ebid response. Any damage to the equipment which exceeds normal wear and tear will be evaluated and a dollar amount established at time of rental completion. The damage determination will be based on a mutual understanding by both parties of the extent of the damage and cost for such damage. 3.1.1 Unit shall be regenerative air type unit, powered by liquid cooled diesel engine(s), or electric. 3.1.2 Unit shall have low engine oil and high engine water temp indicators. 3.1.3 Unit shall have air cleaner restriction indicator in the cab. 3.1.4 Sweeper shall have backup alarm. 3.1.5 Unit shall have left-hand, right-hand trailer tow type mirrors. 3.1.6 Unit shall have windshield wiper washer system. 3.1.7 Unit shall have rear backup light. 3.1.8 Operator seat shall be deluxe cloth, full adjustable. 3.1.9 Unit shall include dual controls when dual gutter brooms are ordered unless operator can view left and right-side broom from operator control station. 3.1.10 Unit shall have power steering.
