Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is requesting proposals for the provision of on-call installation services of NDOT furnished 2-way new or refurbished mobile radios in NDOT maintenance vehicles or equipment. Prices quoted on the Cost Proposal shall be at a unit price per radio installation and performance testing per vehicle/equipment. Radios will be installed in large plow trucks, pickups, graders, loaders, and other specialized vehicles/equipment. Radios installed in large trucks have remote mount control heads, and other radios may be a dash mount type. 1. Labor required for installation of radios in compliance with the standard procedure as specified within Attachment A Requirements and Standard Procedures 2. Miscellaneous materials to include, but is not limited to: screws, ties, sealers, etc. 3. Tools, instruments, and equipment needed to perform the installation 4. Travel to and from the installation location, including lodging if needed 5. Completed Attachment D Radio Installer Checklist and certification of installation according to Attachment A Requirements and Standard Procedures 6. Removal of installation debris from vehicles 7. Prompt rework of any noncompliance with the standard procedure
