Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Rhode Island Department of Corrections (RIDOC) is seeking a vendor to provide evidencebased medication assisted treatment (MAT) services utilizing all three FDA approved medications which include Buprenorphine (sublingual and injectable), Methadone, and Naltrexone (oral and injectable) for incarcerated individuals with opioid use disorder. The goals of these services are to improve a continuum of care and reduce the incidence of opioid overdoses and overdose deaths in prison, jail, and following release. • Vendor must provide evidence of appropriate Federal and State licenses for the dispensing of methadone and buprenorphine. These licenses must be maintained and be in good standing. • Vendor must have capability to provide all required medications to each facility as required by each facility. • Vendor must assume full responsibility for obtaining and maintaining the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) accreditation. • Medical and Behavioral Health staff must provide evidence of appropriate professional certifications/licensing.
