Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project is located at Harry Reid International Airport and includes the reconstruction and expansion of an aircraft parking holding pad (Holding Pad 7), as well as reconstruction of the airfield Main Gate to improve Airport security. The existing Holding Pad 7 pavements are constructed of both Asphalt Concrete (AC) and Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) that have exceeded the pavement life and will be replaced with new Airfield PCC pavement. The project will include drainage improvements within the limits of the holding pad (installation of new aircraft rated trench drains and storm drain piping), construction of a new reinforced concrete retaining wall separating Holding Pad 7 from other airfield pavement areas, removal of high mast light poles, installation of new high mast light poles, conversion of the adjacent Cargo Apron existing high mast light pole luminaires from incandescent to LED, electrical duct-banks, taxiway lighting, airfield surface markings, new airfield security fencing, and retrofits to existing security fencing. Reconstruction of the airfield Main Gate will include demolition of existing AC pavement, construction of new paved island with security bollards, and installation of CCTV cameras and associated infrastructure.
