Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose for this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified firms to develop and provide a comprehensive, fully integrated, permit tracking and land management software system for the City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) Community Development Department (CDD). CBJ intends to contract with the best apparent Consultant who can provide the most comprehensive solution or range of services including; software development, installation, integration and/or conversion, implementation and training services for CDD Staff. Brief Project Objective/Overview & Timeline : The permitting and land management software system would manage workflow, record keeping, inspections, and reporting for all CDD services and functions while integrating data and functionality from the legacy system. The primary focus of the product will result in faster, more accurate and user-friendly software that increases staff productivity while enriching the public experience. The Consultant should plan to begin work ASAP after Notice to Proceed. Best case scenario, if possible, the project completion date would be before end of year 2023.
