Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University is interested in purchasing furniture and other related furnishings for the UNO Durham Science Center. This project requires the capability of a supplier to manage, order, deliver and service a large volume of goods in a timely and efficient manner. If requested by the university, physical samples of all wood veneer, laminate, solid surface, and edge banding should be packaged to take with the committee at the end of the showroom visit for additional evaluation. Sample sizes should not exceed 10” x 10”. If requested by the university, each bidder shall submit with their required samples, a group of 10-15 fabrics they propose for the project based on the provided color scheme. All fabrics must have a minimum 100,000 double rubs. Bidder will be responsible for disposal of all packing/crating/waste material. UNL does not have trash receptacles available on campus for disposal of packing/crating/waste materials. All work done should comply with all codes, standards, ordinances, rules, and regulations as applicable to the project. If any portion of this contract requires various permits or licenses, the Contractor should obtain or assist UNL in obtaining all such permits and licenses.
