Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent and purpose of this RFP is to select and establish an agreement with a contractor for janitorial services to furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, cleaning and cleaning supplies required to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for the City of Lewiston Library, Sunday through Thursday. The building is approximately 51,330 sq. ft. and has two floors and a basement. The Initial Term of the Agreement shall be from May 17, 2023 through September 30, 2023. Thereafter, the Agreement shall automatically renew for up to five (5) additional terms, unless terminated. For purposes of this request for proposals (RFP), the City of Lewiston will hereby be referred to as “City” and the private firm will hereby be referred to as “Contractor”.
