This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this solicitation.
This is a solicitation for a SOLE SOURCE requirement for E.H. Wachs, for the purchase of a new rotary cutting machine (with spare parts) that will be used for cutting Main Omega Seals. The work will take place at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, Maine and at the Contractor’s facility. The anticipated Delivery Date will be 14 weeks from this notice.
The NAICS code for this requirement is 333515, Cutting Tool and Machine Tool Accessory Manufacturing and this solicitation is a SOLE SOURCE. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to negotiate and award a contract with E.H. Wachs on a sole source basis by authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) and FAR 6.302-1.
