Specifications include, but are not limited to: Georgia Tech requires the services of Engineering firms (Consultant) to supplement its inhouse capabilities for the production of designs and studies for renovation of existing buildings and infrastructure requiring the services of professionally registered engineers. This category includes primarily mechanical, electrical and plumbing services but may also require but is not limited to include civil and acoustical engineering support services. Projects may include but are not limited to: the design, evaluation and planning of new, renovated or existing teaching and research labs, general use administrative offices, academic learning environments, residence halls or process systems in existing Georgia Tech buildings and underground utility work on the Georgia Tech campus. The selected firms may be asked to work to provide sector and utility master planning in conjunction with other ongoing efforts. Georgia Tech’s Office of Planning, Design, and Construction (OPDC) will develop the scope of services on a project by project basis. In general scope of services will be in conformance with Georgia Tech’s Yellowbook requirements.
